Background
In 2010, true to the motto “Peace to the huts and war upon the palaces”, founders discovered a factory courtyard and built their small, family hotel Hȕttenpalast located at the Berlin neighborhood of Neukölln. They strive to offer guests the chance to spend the night inside a lovingly refurbished vintage caravan or a lofty factory room. This will be a space that guests will be able to share enthusiasm, and combine their skills to create a space for occasions of creative exchange.

Design Approach
The objective of this project was to chose an existing hotel service brand and revitalize it through creation of an extensive application system. The new Hȕttenpalast hopes to be where people from different places meet to share ideas and feel good. The crafted system strive to translate these experience to reach larger worldwide audience. The finalized identity was achieved through the studies on a series of recognizable symbols, along with the playful treatment of typography.
